Who is Dr. Jordan?

Once upon a time, Dr. Jordan played college football. Being a student-athlete while pursuing medicine taught him a lot about life. Life as a student-athlete can be extremely tough. One has to live the life of a student – going to class, writing papers, studying for tests, and doing group projects – but there’s also the athletic side which, depending upon how you look at it, is what is paying for your college education. There’s not just a balance one has to have, there has to be discipline. Dr. Jordan’s coaches played a huge role in his success because they instilled in him a work ethic of dedication and commitment. Those things are major components of being a great person, a great professional, a great business owner, and a great mentor.

Mentors Mentoring Mentors

His coaches played a major role because they influenced him with their passion and dedication. Watching a coach who got to work at 5:30 every morning as the first one there and who was also the last guy to leave every single day, that was someone Dr. Jordan admired. Looking up to people like that, he told himself, “that’s my calling. To do that is my calling.” Dr. Jordan aspires to be an orthodontist with a platform to inspire others, to give them words of wisdom, to give advice and encouragement to patients, parents, and coworkers. He aspires to be an orthodontist in the mold of his college coaches in order to inspire the next generation to work hard and to be dedicated to their dreams. He believes that anyone can overcome anything through dedication and persistence. Being a doctor is something difficult, but as long as you put your mind to it just like anything else you can accomplish it. Dr. Jordan serves as a testament to that example.

Dr. Jordan’s Vision

Dr. Jordan’s vision for Esteem Dental is not just about straightening people’s teeth. People do need positive role models and he wants to be a role model for you and your children. He is for his patients, to be that driving force or that extra push that someone needs to get to where they want to be. That’s the way to make our world a better place, to lead, and to mentor others.
